Prior to Pre-Paid Legal, we were blessed with a gorgeous family of five children. Our oldest son Todd, 19, is a Director with three Director organizations below him. He will become Executive Director this year, and he is thrilled about that. Our second child Trey will be a new Associate on his eighteenth birthday. Trey is very excited to start his Pre-Paid Legal career. We then have Halie, almost 15, who is vivacious and outgoing and excels at gymnastics and at her school work. Tate, almost 12, is our youngest son and is full of life! We're convinced Tate will be a Platinum Executive Director in years to come! He is a born leader. Our youngest daughter is the joy of our lives. Savannah , almost 9, is an overachiever. She excels at gymnastics, piano and school. She will never "settle" for second best - a good quality for success in business and in life!

Prior to Pre-Paid Legal, Marsha was a special education school teacher, and I was a Veterinary Sales Manager for a big pet food company with a short career in another network-marketing company that went out of business after three years in operation. Pre-Paid Legal came along because I had four little brothers - Jeff, Mike, David and Chris - who wouldn't shut up about it every time I was around them! They literally pestered me for eight months and I said no for eight months. Then we lost our income as I had quit the pet food company to go full time with this other network-marketing company and they decided to go out of business one year after I quit my full-time job! Ouch! Today, after being in Pre-Paid Legal for about six years, we are Platinum 3 Executive Directors and Ring earners and couldn't be happier!

Marsha has since quit her job as a teacher and joined me full time in the business. Her impact is obvious. We went from being Silver Executive Directors to Platinum 3 from the time she quit her job! It is totally true that behind every good man, you'll find an even better woman! I love my wife with all my heart! Today, we live in a 6,100 square foot home on the side of a mountain in Draper, Utah . We drive two new 2005 vehicles. We wear designer clothes. Our children have it all, and we are now able to give more in charitable contributions than we ever dreamed we would be able to do!

Our biggest passion in Pre-Paid Legal is seeing the personal growth in others! We love helping our team achieve their goals and dreams. It is what drives us daily in this business. The more you help other people, the more you are helping your own family. We're now able to take all five of our children to places like Hawaii and on cruises, Thanks to this industry; we were able to afford seven airline tickets to Texas when my grandmother passed away a few years ago. Without the money, you simply have to forego situations like this or go into debt.

We can only say to anyone reading this story that no matter how discouraged you might become, no matter how deep the valley of despair, no matter how frustrated you might be, just remember one thing, the price you'll pay to overcome all of these obstacles and adversities will far outweigh the life you'll end up with if you don't pay the price! As Winston Churchill said, 'Never, never, never, never quit!" You'll be so happy you stuck it out!
